Beaded Window Curtains
Are you tired of boring curtains that seem to have no personality? If so, then using beaded window curtains may be a great way to spice up your décor. Many people find themselves looking for a curtain that is a bit on the exotic side and that goes beyond traditional curtain boundaries, and beaded curtains definitely fit in this category. Although they were previously popular in the 1960’s, these curtains are making a comeback again and many people are beginning to bring them back into their homes once again.

Types of Beads Used
1. Glass Beads - Many beaded window curtains use glass beads. These are especially beautiful since they are so shiny and the light bounces off of them so pleasingly. Usually glass beaded curtains are more elegant than some of the other styles; however, remember that they are going to make some noise when they move around.
2. Acrylic Beads - While these beads are not quite as pretty as the glass beads, some people find that they may be a better choice because they will not break or chip as glass ones can.
3. Bamboo Beads - If you really want your beaded window curtains to look exotic, you may want to choose ones with bamboo beads. Curtains made out of these beads are lighter and they also will not make the clinking or clacking sound that some of the other types of beads tend to do.
4. Wooden Beads - Wooden beads are often used on these beaded curtains as well. They are quite a bit sturdier than the beads made of bamboo, and they look beautiful even if they are left unfinished as well.
